Isaiah 9:6 reminds us of the profound promise of Christmas: "For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." This timeless prophecy, spoken centuries before the birth of Jesus, unveils the essence of the season we celebrate.
Wonderous Women of God, we have the privilege to represent Him well. Contemplating the majestic attributes of Jesus encourages me to walk in His footsteps. Amidst the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season, it is easy to succumb to fatigue and frustration. However, every step we take is anointed by the One who came to bring peace.
Commit your tasks to prayer, and witness how quickly and efficiently God will bless your steps. Amid last-minute gifts, wrapping, and meal preparations, we must focus on Him. As the saying goes, "the reason for the season" rings true today more than ever. Let us put God first in every aspect of our holiday preparations.
As you navigate through the various demands of the season, remember that even the most minor actions and intentions can be blessed when surrendered to God. Turn on some Christian Christmas music, and let each finished task become an opportunity to praise God.
Merry Christmas! I join you in prayer this season, trusting that God's peace will permeate every aspect of your celebrations.
