The Holy Spirit has been persistently nudging me towards readiness, a call that has resonated within me for what feels like an extended period—even for years. However, the call took a more profound turn this morning: "Prepare to enter His presence." Intrigued, I sought clarification on the preparation process. Did it involve completing earthly tasks? Thoughts of unfinished to-do list items, like cleaning my den and closet and spending time with loved ones, rushed through my mind. However, the response redirected me to prepare my heart and mind for His presence.
In my journey of preparation, I have discovered one sure way—immersing myself in His word (Psalm 119:105), engaging in prayer (Philippians 4:6-7), and surrendering to worship (John 4:24). These three pillars become my foundation for entering the presence of the King. While I live on earth, He exists in me. The Holy Spirit speaks, comforts, counsels, and guides me. Yet, in heaven, I will enter His presence with a glorified body, leaving behind the limitations of my earthly flesh.
As I anticipate that glorious day, I must deepen my intimacy with Him. Investing time in His word allows me to focus on the message of the moment. He continuously readies me to share with His people, urging me to renew my mind daily (Romans 12:2), avoid worldly distractions, and delve deeper into the insights of His word, prayer, and worship.
God has spoken to me about the brevity of time. In this fleeting season, I desire to know Him more. Earthly tasks may fade away, needing repetition, but every effort invested in the Kingdom of God endures. Thus, preparing for eternity becomes my paramount assignment.
Seeking guidance to enter His presence, God gently reminded me that I had already been there. While no one can be in the presence of the Lord in the flesh and live, He revealed that my spirit has communed with Him in the heavenly realms, assuring me of more such moments in the future.
In prayer, I lift my plea to the Lord—remove distractions and sharpen my focus on His kingdom's intentions. May His kingdom come, and His will be done. In Jesus' name, I pray!
So beautiful 💕
Very well spoken I also believe God is preparing His Bride for that great wedding!
